Resume Update
Posted: November 14, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a comment »Food for Thought
In pursuit of the perfect resume, here are some thoughts:
The top of the resume needs to grab the employers attention. Therefore, a long description of the position you’re seeking isn’t necessary. You should highlight instead your top accomplishments.
To describe yourself as “experienced” is too vague, so be specific.
To state you are a “team player” isn’t always enough. Describe your team efforts with team action.
Remember, you need to be dynamic! Don’t wait for the interview, show enthusiasm and energy.
Finally, you do not need to add: references upon request.
